The choice of roller tonnage depends on the specific application. The following summarizes several common applications and the corresponding tonnage for reference!


1. Check the width and thickness of the paved soil layer before compaction of the filling roadbed. After passing the test, you can compact it. The compaction should be "light first and then heavy". The final compaction should be a roller of at least 12t.


2. Excavation subgrade road roller is not less than 12t.


3. The rock-filled embankment should be compacted with a vibratory roller of more than 12t, a tire roller of more than 25t, or a tamp of 2.5t.


4. When the asphalt surface course is densely graded and the asphalt mixture is re-pressurized, when using a three-wheel steel drum roller, the total mass is not less than 12t.


5. Modified asphalt mixtures should be rolled with vibratory rollers or steel drum rollers. Tire rollers should not be used for rolling. The OGFC mixture should be rolled with a steel drum roller of more than 12t.
